Getting started with ISP Static Proxies

Learn how to quickly set up and use ISP Static Proxies for reliable, high-speed, and location-specific connections.

What is an ISP Static Proxy?

An ISP Static Proxy is a dedicated, fixed IP address provided by a real Internet Service Provider (ISP). Unlike datacenter proxies, these IPs come from genuine residential ISP ranges, making them far more trusted and less likely to be flagged. They offer stable performance, consistent location identity, and are ideal for tasks that require high reliability and low detection rates.

Key features of ISP Static Proxy

  1. Static IP Address – Your proxy comes with a fixed, non-rotating IP for stable and consistent usage.

  2. Dual Protocol Support – Connect using either HTTP(S) or SOCKS5, each controlled by its dedicated port number.

  3. Permanent Credentials – Your username and password remain the same, making configuration simple and reliable.

  4. Unlimited Bandwidth – Enjoy unrestricted data usage with no caps or throttling.

  5. 500 Concurrent Threads – High-performance proxy infrastructure supporting up to 500 simultaneous connections.

Frequently Asked Questions (FAQs)

1. Do ISP Static Proxies rotate their IP address?

  • No. These proxies use a fixed, static IP address, which means it never changes unless you change the proxy itself.

2. Which proxy protocols are supported?

  • Your ISP Static Proxies support both HTTP(S) and SOCKS5 protocols. You can switch between them simply by using the corresponding port number shown in your dashboard.

3. Are my login credentials permanent?

  • Yes. Your username and password are static, so your applications remain connected without needing to update credentials.

4. Is there any bandwidth limit?

  • No. All ISP Static Proxies come with unlimited bandwidth, allowing you to run tasks without restrictions.

5. How many simultaneous connections can I run?

  • You can run up to 500 concurrent threads/connections per proxy, providing excellent performance for multitasking, scraping, automation, or large workloads.

6. Can I choose which ISP my static proxy comes from?

  • At the moment, ISP selection isn’t available as a configurable option. Each proxy’s ISP is predetermined based on the IP and port combination assigned to your account. You will always receive legitimate ISP-based IPs, but the specific provider may vary depending on availability and network routing.

7. I cannot connect to my proxy — what should I do?

  • Connection issues can sometimes come from the user’s side or from the proxy side. Before assuming the proxy is down, please try the following steps:

  • Double-check that the username and password you entered are correct.

  • Ensure there are no extra spaces before or after your credentials.

  • Verify that your browser or application proxy settings are configured correctly.

  • Try using a different browser.

  • Try connecting from a different device and a different network.

  • Make sure your browser or app supports the selected protocol (HTTP(S) or SOCKS5).

  • Check whether your firewall or ISP is blocking proxy connections.

  • Confirm that your proxy subscription has not expired.

  • Ensure you did not change the proxy credentials, protocol, or authentication method.

* Important: Users in regions such as China, Hong Kong, Taiwan, UAE, Egypt, and Morocco may experience connection restrictions due to national-level regulations on proxy usage. If you are in one of these areas, please connect to a VPN first, then try connecting to the proxy again.

If none of the above resolves the issue, the proxy itself may require a check-up. Please contact our 24/7 live support via messenger or email us at [email protected], and we will gladly assist you.
