Getting Started with IPv4 Traffic-based Datacenter Proxies

Comprehensive guidance for IPv4 Traffic-based Datacenter Proxies

We are excited to introduce our IPv4 Traffic-based Datacenter Proxies offerings, designed to provide high-performance, reliable proxy connections for your business needs. This guide will walk you through the basics of using our datacenter proxies, selecting protocols, managing session stickiness, choosing countries and ISPs, and managing your proxy settings.

Proxy Plans

Subscription Model

Subscription-based plans with fixed monthly data allowances. Data allowance resets at the beginning of each month.

Pay-As-You-Go Model

IPv4 Traffic-based Datacenter Proxies Flexible

  • Top up your account with any amount of GB and use it whenever you want

  • No monthly subscription — only pay for what you use

  • Data remains available until fully consumed

Key Features

  • Dual Protocol Support: Choose between HTTP and SOCKS5 protocols

  • Country Selection: Select from available countries for your proxy location

  • ISP Selection: Choose specific ISPs where multiple options are available

  • Session Control: Toggle between sticky and rotating sessions

  • Integrated Controls: Manage all proxy settings from a single interface

  • High Performance: Datacenter infrastructure for reliable connections

How to Configure Your Proxy Protocol

IPv4 Traffic-based Datacenter Proxies support both HTTP and SOCKS5 protocols:

  1. Within your client area, select your IPv4 Traffic-based Datacenter Proxy

  2. In the Controls tab, locate "Change Proxy Protocol"

  3. Choose between HTTP or SOCKS5 from the dropdown menu

  4. Your connection credentials will automatically update to reflect the selected protocol

Protocol Selection Tips:

· HTTP: Best for web browsing and basic HTTP requests

· SOCKS5: More versatile, supports various types of traffic, including TCP and UDP

How to Select a Country

You can choose a specific country for your proxy connection:

1. Within your client area, select your IPv4 Traffic-based Datacenter Proxy

2. In the Controls tab, locate the "Country" dropdown

3. Select your desired country from the available options

4. Your password will automatically update to reflect the country selection

With a randomly selected country, the password appears without a country postfix.

How to Choose an ISP

For countries with multiple ISP options available:

1. First select your desired country from the Country dropdown

2. The ISP dropdown will populate with available options for that country

3. Choose your preferred ISP from the list

4. Your credentials will update to reflect both country and ISP selection

When "Random" country is selected, the ISP dropdown shows "Please select a country first". When there's only one ISP available per country, it shows "Selection Not Available".

How to Switch Session Stickiness

Session stickiness determines how long you keep the same IP address:

· Sticky sessions: The same IP is retained for 30 minutes

· Rotating sessions: A new IP is assigned on each request

To Enable Sticky Sessions:

1. Locate the "Sticky Connection" dropdown in the Controls tab

2. Select "Yes" to activate sticky connections

3. Your password will update with an additional session postfix: _session-[SessionID]

To Disable Sticky Sessions:

1. Select "No" from the "Sticky Connection" dropdown

2. Each request will use a new IP address

You can combine country selection, ISP selection, and sticky sessions for precise proxy configuration.

How to Reset Your Password

If you need to reset your proxy password:

1. Navigate to the Controls section of your IPv4 Traffic-based Datacenter Proxy

2. Click "Reset Password" (blue link below the password field)

3. A new password will be generated automatically

4. Update your applications with the new credentials

Proxy Connection Details

Your proxy connection information is displayed in the Controls interface:

  • HTTP Proxy Host: The proxy server address

  • Port: Connection port (3333 for HTTP, 4444 for SOCKS5)

  • Username: Your unique username identifier

  • Password: Dynamic password that changes based on your settings

  • Status: Shows if your proxy is Active

  • Balance: Displays remaining data allowance

Frequently Asked Questions (FAQs)

  1. What protocols do the IPv4 Traffic-based Datacenter Proxies support?

Our IPv4 Traffic-based Datacenter Proxies support both HTTP and SOCKS5 protocols, giving you flexibility for different use cases.

  2. Does unused bandwidth expire?

Subscription Plans: Unused data does not carry over to the next month - bandwidth resets monthly.

Flexible Plan: Your purchased bandwidth remains available until fully used - there's no monthly expiration.

  3. What are proxy authentication methods?

The username/password authentication model is used for all connections.

  4. How can I change my proxy settings?

All proxy settings can be modified directly from the Controls interface, including protocol, country, ISP, and session stickiness.

  5. Why do my credentials change when I modify settings?

The password dynamically updates to reflect your selected configuration (country, ISP, sticky session) to ensure proper routing.

  6. How many concurrent sessions (threads) can be used?

There's no limit on concurrent sessions.

  7. Can I choose both country and ISP?

Yes, you can select both country and ISP (where multiple ISPs are available) for precise geographic and network routing.

  8. What's the difference between datacenter and residential proxies?

    Datacenter proxies offer:
    - Higher speeds and reliability
    - SOCKS5 protocol support
    - ISP selection options
    - Dedicated datacenter infrastructure

  9. I cannot connect to my proxy, what should I do?

    If you cannot connect:

    1. Verify your credentials are entered correctly

    2. Check for extra spaces in your authentication details

    3. Confirm your protocol selection matches your application settings

    4. Try a different browser or application

    5. Check firewall settings aren't blocking proxy connections

    6. Verify your balance hasn't been depleted

    7. Test with a different country/ISP combination

  10. Are there any restrictions for proxy use?

We do not block or restrict anything from our side, but we cannot guarantee that every IP will work with every use case. However, our proxies are not suitable for:

    1. Mailing services

    2. Gambling sites

    3. Survey sites

    4. Offer sites

    5. Redeem sites

    6. Dating services

  11. My proxy shows the wrong location?

Different websites use different IP geolocation databases, which can show varying results. For accurate location verification, use official databases like:

    • IP2location

    • IPqualityscore

    • Geo IP2 MAXMIND

    • DB-IP

    • IPinfo.io

We cannot control third-party database information, so location discrepancies on unofficial sites don't qualify for refunds.

  12. Connection issues in certain regions?

Users in China, Hong Kong, Taiwan, UAE, Egypt, and Morocco may experience connection issues due to national regulations. We recommend connecting to a VPN first, then connecting to the proxy.
