Getting Started with Mobile Proxy

Comprehensive guidance for Mobile proxies

We are excited to introduce our Mobile Proxy offerings, designed to provide you with authentic mobile IP addresses for your specific needs. This guide will walk you through the basics of using our mobile proxies, selecting protocols, managing session stickiness, choosing countries and ISPs, and managing your proxy settings.

Proxy plans

  1. Subscription model

    Protocol Selection

You can choose between two connection protocols:

    • HTTP Protocol

      • Standard web browsing and API requests

      • Widely supported across applications

    • SOCKS5 Protocol

      • More versatile protocol supporting various types of traffic

      • Better for applications requiring advanced proxy features

    To change the protocol:

    1. Locate the Change Proxy Protocol dropdown

    2. Select either "HTTP" or "SOCKS5"

    3. Your connection settings will update automatically

How to Switch Session Stickiness

Session stickiness determines how long you keep the same mobile IP address:

  • Sticky sessions: The same mobile IP is retained for 30 minutes.

  • Rotating sessions: A new mobile IP is assigned on each request

  1. Find the Sticky Connection dropdown

  2. Select "Yes" to enable sticky sessions or "No" for rotating sessions

  3. When sticky sessions are enabled, you'll receive a session identifier in your password

How to Select a Country and ISP

Choose your desired country for the mobile IP address:

1. Locate the Country dropdown in the Controls section

2. Select your preferred country from the available options

3. Choose "Random" if you don't have a specific country preference

4. Your password will be updated to reflect the country selection

How to Select an ISP

For countries with multiple Internet Service Providers available:

1. First, select your desired country

2. The ISP dropdown will populate with available options

3. Choose your preferred ISP from the list

4. If only one ISP is available, the selection option won't appear

Not all countries have multiple ISPs available. The ISP selection will only be visible when multiple options exist for your chosen country.

Frequently Asked Questions (FAQs)

  1. What protocols do mobile proxies support?

Mobile proxies support both HTTP and SOCKS5 protocols, giving you flexibility for different use cases.

  2. Does unused bandwidth expire?

    • Subscription Plans - Unused data does not carry over to the next month.

    • Infinity Proxy - Your purchased bandwidth remains available until fully used.

  3. What are proxy authentication methods?

    Mobile proxies use username/password authentication.

  4. How can I change my proxy password?

By using the Reset Password feature within the Controls section of the Proxy product.

  5. Why are the IP address, port, and username always the same?

Rotating residential proxies utilize a shared IP, which means that the IP address you receive is connected to the entire shared IP pool. Your address will reflect the country after connecting to the proxy.

  6. How many concurrent sessions (threads) can be used?

There's no limit on concurrent sessions (threads).

  7. Are there restrictions for mobile proxy use?

We don't impose restrictions from our side, but mobile proxies may not work optimally for:

    • Mailing services

    • Gambling sites

    • Survey sites

    • Offer sites

    • Redeem sites

    • Dating services

  8. Why might my mobile proxy show a different location?

Different websites use different IP geolocation databases, which can show varying results. For accurate location verification, use official databases like:

    • IP2location

    • IPqualityscore

    • Geo IP2 MAXMIND

    • DB-IP

    • IPinfo.io

    • IPdata.co

    • Scamlytics

    • IPregistry

    • IPgeolocation

    • ipapi.co

    • Google

We cannot control third-party database information, so location discrepancies on unofficial sites don't qualify for refunds. Mobile IPs can sometimes appear in different locations due to how mobile networks route traffic.

  9. Are there any restrictions for proxy use?
We do not block or restrict anything from our side, but we cannot guarantee that every IP will work with every use case.

However, our proxies are not suitable and will not work for the following use cases:

    • Mailing services

    • Gambling sites

    • Survey sites

    • Offer sites

    • Redeem sites

    • Dating services

  10. I cannot connect to my mobile proxy, what should I do?

    Try these troubleshooting steps:

    • Verify your credentials are correct (no extra spaces)

    • Check your application supports the selected protocol (HTTP/SOCKS5)

    • Test with different browsers or applications

    • Ensure your firewall isn't blocking proxy connections

    • Try connecting from a different network

    • Verify your proxy hasn't expired

  11. Connection issues in specific regions:

Users in China, Hong Kong, Taiwan, UAE, Egypt, and Morocco may experience connection issues due to national regulations. Consider connecting through a VPN first, then to the mobile proxy.

  12. Why do mobile IPs have different characteristics?

Mobile proxies provide IP addresses from actual mobile networks, which may have different behavioral patterns compared to residential or datacenter proxies. This makes them ideal for use cases requiring mobile-specific IP characteristics.

In case none of these options worked, the proxy may be the issue, and upon that contact our live support via messenger or write a letter to [email protected] for a check-up of your proxy.
