Follow these straightforward steps to seamlessly connect to your proxy directly in the MacOS settings without any hassle!

πŸ’‘ The following guidance is made on Sonoma 14.4.1

  1. Open up your system settings, search for proxies and open it up

  2. You will be redirected to set up your currently connected Wi-Fi network instantly. Select and trigger either HTTP or SOCKS5 settings, depending on your proxy protocol.

  3. Copy-paste the purchased proxy credentials, the IP:PORT, and the username with a password into corresponding fields. Choose to enable authentication only if your proxy has a username and password authentication.

    ​IP whitelist users can skip the authentication part.
    ​
    Press OK to save settings.
    ​

  4. Turn off Wi-Fi for a few seconds and turn it on. You are good to go! In case username/password authentication does not work out with proxy - we suggest changing the authentication method to IP whitelist for more simplified usage.
