How to run Librespeed via LinuxServer.io's Docker Image

Installing LibreSpeed on your seedbox is extremely useful for obtaining an accurate speed test rating between your local machine and your seedbox!



What is LibreSpeed?

LibreSpeed Free and Open Source Speedtest. No Flash, No Java, No Websocket. This is a very lightweight Speedtest implemented in Javascript, using XMLHttpRequest and Web Workers.


Installation

Use the install-app utility to install and uninstall apps.

sudo install-app

Or if you're running as root, do just

install-app

Use the keyboard or the mouse (by double-clicking) to move around the tool.

Navigate to Install Application >> Utilities >> LibreSpeed >> Install

Wait for this to finish and can exit your ssh session and move on to the next step.

Next, we'll head to our new LibreSpeed URL: https://x-x-x-x.a.seedbox.vip/librespeed

Once you enter your username and password, you'll be greeted by LibreSpeed. Here you can click Start to begin your speed test! Remember, you can access this link on any device to test connectivity.

Doing speed tests

You can perform a speed test for servers based in Amsterdam.

Make sure a Single connection is selected beforehand. This way, you will get the actual ping rates from your end to NL-based servers where most of our seedboxes are hosted.
