How to cancel my service?

Sometimes you need a break. We get it. Here's a quick walk-through on how to terminate your seedbox.

Step 1

First of all, you need to be sure about it.

If you're not, we encourage you to send us a message and give us a chance to change your mind 😃 (Our success rates are high, try us.)

To start the process, enter your Client Area, and from the Panel on the right, go to Services, from there, choose the service you want to terminate and go to it.

From there, go to the Manage Subscriptions tab.

From here, you can terminate your services easily!

Step 4

There are two cancellation types:

  1. Immediate - your box will be canceled soon after your request

  2. End-of-billing-period - your box will be canceled after the current billing period is over

Refunds

Our refund policy can be applied only to your first service of its kind (first seedbox, first proxy, and so on).

Canceling your service with the "Immediate" option will issue you a refund only if you're requesting a refund within the 14 days period from the purchase and the service is the of its kind.

What happens to all my stored data?

Upon the termination of your service, all the data stored in your service will be lost. When a seedbox is terminated, all data, software configurations, and running services are irreversibly deleted. This ensures operational efficiency and security, reinforcing that terminated seedboxes cannot be recovered.

Please back up all your data before your seedbox is terminated. If you don't, you will lose all your data, and that process is irreversible. Once a Seedbox is terminated and deleted from the system, it cannot be recovered or restored. This applies to all types of Seedboxes provided by RapidSeedbox, including Swift boxes.

Preventive Steps to Avoid Data Loss

  1. Regular Backups: Always create backups of important files stored on your seedbox. Consider using a local or cloud-based solution.

  2. Monitor Your Subscription: Ensure timely renewal of your service subscription to avoid unintended termination.

  3. Review User Policy: Understand the terms to ensure no accidental violations occur that could trigger termination.

  4. Contact Support Promptly: For issues or concerns about your seedbox, contact RapidSeedbox support early to prevent potential termination.For instance, system logs that indicate successful deletion, such as 'Module Terminate Successful,' confirm that the termination process is complete and all data has been thoroughly erased. These logs are used for confirmation purposes but are not actionable for recovery. 5. Understand Account vs Service Termination: Decide whether you're terminating a particular service or deleting your entire account. Service termination allows you to retain your account for future use, while account deletion results in permanent removal of all associated data.

Can a terminated or deleted Seedbox be recovered?

  • Once a Seedbox is terminated and deleted from the system, it cannot be recovered or restored. This applies to all types of Seedboxes provided by RapidSeedbox, including Swift boxes.Terminations are designed to be final and irreversible, as they erase all stored configurations, files, and active sessions to maintain system performance and security.

Next Steps if a Seedbox is Terminated

  • The only way to continue using a Seedbox service is to create a new one. This will allow you to resume service with a fresh configuration.
