This short guide will help you to quickly set up Emby and stream movies. With this guide you don't need to transfer your files to your home. Just leave it in your seedbox.
You can stream it directly with Emby in your seedbox into your Emby in your PCs, Laptops, Smartphones or even Smart TVs
Installing Emby
Emby is not installed by default. But it can be installed on Stream, Rapid or Furious Seedboxes. You can head over to our One-Click-Installer and install Emby.
After the installation Finished you can head over to it clicking this button
The Emby Setup Wizard
You will be presented with one time Emby wizard to setup language, username, passwords and libraries. Just the basics.
Choose the preferred display language
Create the first user, which also be the admin user
Now add some media library. This is where you tell Emby to look for Movies and Series.
💡Tip: Be sure to choose the appropriate content type (e.g., Movies, TV Shows, Music) when creating a library. This helps Emby organize and scan your files correctly.
Next up, you will need to choose and add the folder path where all your media files are stored.
💡 Not sure what folder path to use?
You can find it by checking your FTP client (e.g., FileZilla or WinSCP). It usually looks like this: /home/your-username/files/movies/.
Use the “Add Folder” option in Emby and browse or paste this path.
After that Emby will try to scan the folders for movies. After logging in you will see the movies in the folder
🔐 You may need to log in again using the admin account you just created after the setup wizard finishes.
You can click the thumbnail to start playing. Congratulations! You just stream your first movie.

Emby Premiere
If you have Emby Premiere code, you can put it into Settings -> Emby Premiere
Note: Before finishing setup, you’ll be asked to agree to Emby’s Terms of Service. This is required to activate your configuration.
