IP Rental Process Guide

Instructions for managing and completing IP rentals on RapidSeedbox.

Welcome to our comprehensive guide on renting IPv4 and IPv6 address ranges. We offer a straightforward and transparent IP rental service, providing IP addresses owned and managed directly by us—no brokers or third parties involved.

We specialize in leasing IPv4 and IPv6 addresses for various professional needs, such as:

• Proxy servers

• Data centers

• Web scraping

• Hosting solutions

• Marketing agencies

• ISPs

• Colocation providers

ℹ️ We do not offer residential IP ranges or ISP services. All IPs are announced by our partnered data centers or your provided ASNs, primarily based in the Seychelles. However, we can assist in geolocating the IPs to any location you require through geodata providers.

For more information on what's the ASN, check the following article.

Rental Process

Leasing ranges with our Servers

If you don’t have your own server, we can route the IPs to one of our dedicated servers available on-demand for IP rentals. In this case:

  1. Select IP Range: Choose your desired IP range.

  2. Routing Setup: We will handle the routing and configuration on our servers.

  3. Access Details: Receive server access details and start using your IP addresses.

Leasing ranges with your Servers

If you have your Dedicated server,

  1. Select IP Range: Choose your desired IPv4 or IPv6 address range and provide the ASN (Autonomous System Number) from your data center or provider.

  2. RIPE Announcement: We will handle the RIPE (Réseaux IP Européens) announcement and supply you with a Letter of Authorization (LOA) document.

  3. Submit LOA: Forward the LOA to your data center or provider. They will manage the announcement and routing to your server.

  4. Configure IPs: Set up the IP addresses on your server’s network interfaces according to the routing configuration.

Routing and Configuration

  • LOA (Letter of Authorization): A document we provide to authorize your data center or provider to announce the IP range.

  • Routing Assistance: Our team will support you throughout the routing process, ensuring a smooth setup (our servers only)

  • Server Configuration: If using our servers, we handle operating system installation, and configurations such as IP, Gateway IP, and Ranges. (Attaching IPs to the network interfaces falls under customer scope.) If using your own, your provider will manage this with the LOA.

Geolocation Services

Most of our IPs are based in the Seychelles. However, geolocation services require that IP ranges originate from a physical server located in specific regions, such as US-based data centers, to meet geodata provider criteria. Our team offers guidance to help align with these criteria and work with geoproviders, including MaxMind, IP2locations, and DB-IP, to address your specific needs.

💡Geoproviders use mtr and ping tests to determine physical location, so geocorrections may not always be applicable. Additionally, successful geolocation submissions require that the IP range originates from a physical server in a compliant data center location, such as within the US.

Trial Period and Refund Policy

  • 24-Hour Refunds availability: Try our ranges for 24 hours with the eligibility for refunds or swapping the range with another one.

  • Satisfaction Guarantee: If you’re not satisfied within the initial 24-hours period, you can cancel and receive a full refund.

  • No Questions Asked: Our goal is to ensure you find the right solution for your needs without any risk.

Use cases

  • Proxy Services: Enhance privacy and security.

  • Data Centers and Hosting Providers: Expand IP offerings.

  • Web Scraping: Access vast IP pools for data collection.

  • Marketing Agencies: Manage campaigns with diverse IP addresses.

  • ISPs and Colocation Providers: Augment IP resources efficiently.

FAQs

  • Do you route ranges to VPS?
We do not route ranges to VPS, only to bare metal dedicated servers.

  • Is it possible to change the location of the range(s)?

Yes, we can assist you with that by sending requests to all the relevant geoproviders, but in this solution, the server must also be located in the same place where you want the range to be located.

  • Do you support rDNS?

Yes, you need to create a PTR and provide us with two nameservers, so that we can configure them on RIPE for the range.

  • Can I change the subnet during the month?

Unfortunately, no, the subnet can only be changed in the first 24 hours if it doesn't suit you or at the end of the month.

  • What's the usual delivery time of ranges?
The process usually lasts only a few minutes.

  • Do I have access to manage range details on my own, e.g. adding certificates, descriptions, etc.?

Only the networking support team does the range maintenance over the RIPE dashboard. If you wish to perform certain updates, just send an inquiry to our support team.
