We provide root account in every Seedbox.
In this tutorial find out how to change the root password for your Seedbox, from your Seedbox Control Panel.
In case that isn't clear, Root account is super-administrative account for Linux based systems.
First select the SeedBox where you want to reset the root password in your Client Area.
Now, you will see the list of credentials(seedbox related services, usernames and passwords). Find the SeedBox Control Panel one and click on it.
Now you should enter your username and password for Control Panel(see the picture above).

But in this article, we are showing you how to change/reset the root password.
You see there at the bottom few tabs?
Scroll down if you don't and click on Root/Admin password.
Now all you have to do is enter a new desired password(make sure it's strong) and click on CHANGE.
And that is how you change the root password. Simple, right?
