Setup Transdroid with your Seedbox

Introduction

Transdroid is an application for Android devices that allows you to connect to and interact with your torrent clients, such as rTorrent and Deluge. It allows you to monitor your downloads and uploads, as well as add new torrents and pause/resume existing ones. Let us now show you how to set it up and use it

Step 1

So just after you've installed the app go to Settings from the top-right corner and add a new server

Step 2

Choose any of your Torrent Client and proceed by entering all the credentials and options from your Client Area

• Give a friendly name to your Torrent Client

  

• Select the server the type, mine is rTorrent

  

• Add the URL to your torrent client

  

• For the Premium Seedbox you can also add your address like this

  1. Connect to your Premium seedbox via SSH and run then run

     sudo easy-ssl-v2

  2. There wil be a procees running, generating the SSL certifications. Please wait for that to finish
     When it finishes, it will look like this

     

  3. Grab the first link, add /rutorrent at the end of it, and enter it in the IP section on the Transdroid app

  192-168-0-12.my.seedbox.vip/rutorrent

• Add the user and password that you have in your client area

  

• After that go to Advanced settings and check all the 3 boxes regarding SSL

  

• Finally choose the port to be used

  
  

Final Step

Now go back to the main screen and reload

If your torrents aren't active you have to select the All section from the app's side bar

You should see exactly what you have in the Web Rutorrent instance
