Plex Channels provide access to numerous sources of online content, and after installing them you gain access to all the videos of that particular channel.
If you have interests in some topic you just need to find a channel for it and have it few clicks of a mouse away all the time.
In this how-to article, we will show you how to install and use Plex media server channels.
Step 1
Log in to your Plex account with your username and password.
Step 2
On the menu on right side of the page you will find “Channels” tab, so you need to click on it.
Step 3
When you enter “Channels” tab you will see button “Install channels” you need to click on it.
Step 4
Page “Channel Directory” will open and you will see menu with category’s of all channels that are available for installation.
Select a category that is to your liking and enter it.
Step 5
After you select a channel from the list that you want to install just click on it, and a brief description of that channel will open, and you will see “Install” button on which you need to click so installation can commence.
Step 6
Selected Plex channel will install automatically when installation is completed the menu will change and you will be able to “Browse“, “Update” or “Uninstall” selected channel.
Step 7
Now go back to “Channels” tab and you will see all of the Plex channels that you installed. Pick one that you want to watch and click on it.
Step 8
After you enter your selected channel you will see category’s in which videos are classified on that Plex channel. Select one category and enter it.
Step 9
After you enter the category you wished you will see a list of available videos, so after you select a video that you want to watch just click on it and it will be automatically played for you.
